He was born in Owenton, KY., on Jan 8, 1866 to John and Elizabeth (Salles) Bond and was married in Salem on July 25, 1900 to Elsie Winegarner. He had lived in Centralia 41 years and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist church and the U.S.W. of A. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Theodore of Centralia and Harold of Mt. Vernon, two daughters, Mrs. Goldie Tefertillar and Mrs. Elsie Thompson, both of Pontiac, a half-brother, Donald Bond of Glenco, KY., and a half-sister Mrs. Nora Gilbert of Louisville, KY., and four grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed."
