Our family is located mainly on the eastern coastal plain of North Carolina. The surnames I am researching are Sanderson, Merritt, Jarman, German, Eubanks, Wheeler, Wheler, Brown, Shepard, Joiner, Rivenbark, Bradshaw, Bradshaugh, Pierce, Pearce, Williams, Raynor, Horne, Williamson, Dodson, Parker, Halso, Futreal, King, Cavenaugh, Jenkins, Sholar, Lanier, Rawls. Some of our ancestors moved to Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. The earliest date recorded is 1770. Our tree now contains over 2,100 names.
