I am researching the Carl Setterstrom family. Carl and his wife Mathilda immigrated to the United States from Sweden in 1882. They homesteaded in Dakota Territory where they raised six children; Fannie, Carl (Livert), Inez, Fred, Emma and Emil.
Livert Setterstrom's wife, Alma Johnson, also immigrated from Sweden. Alma came to the United States in 1898 at the age of 19 years. She was preceeded by her siblings; Oscar, Hulda, Sophie, Anna and Signa. The Johnson siblings settled in Bloomington, Illinois, but when Alma married she relocated to Ethan, South Dakota with her husband.

I am also researching the *Per Persson/Person/Pierson family. Per and his wife **Amelia (Larsson) immigrated to the United States from Sweden in 1903. They settled in Davison County, South Dakota. They had nine children; Anna, Alexander, John (Jack), Carl, Albert, Henry (Hank), George, Ernest, and Otto Leonard (Swede).

*Per had a brother named Charles (Charlie) who preceeded him to the United States.

**Amelia Larsson's father and mother also immigrated to the U.S. from Sweden. Her father, August Larsson, did not like it here in America and returned to Sweden, while Amelia's mother stayed in America.

I would appreciate any information on any of the above people. I will also forward any information I have that may be of interest in your research.
