I am just beginning my research and know very little about how to proceed. I thought I'd start with my father's and mother's families and these are the names about which I need information:My father's family:Briola - The earliest name I know is Donato (Daniel) Briola. He was born in Italy and settled in Ambridge, Pennsylvania somebefore 1908. He died in aobut 1957. I am looking for inofrmation on his ancestors.Pugliano - I know that the family came from Italy and settlet in Pittsburgh before 1908. Josephine Pugliano was probably born around 1890 and died in 1950.My mother's family:McFadden - My grandfather, Martin, was born in Achill, Ireland. I do not know the date. He settled in Cleveland, Ohio some time around 1900. He died in 1961.Joyce - My Grandmother, Mary Joyce, was born in Tunragee (sp)Ireland and also settled in Cleveland, Ohio some time around 1900. She died in 1942.As I said, I am quite new at this and do not know much about how to begin my search. I would welcome any information as well as any guidance.
