Researching my roots - including the PIERCE, MEREDITH, BRADLEY, ALVEY, HIGDON, (O')GORMAN, CALVERT, HINTON lines from England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, France, Norway and Spain.
All appear to have come to the USA at Maryland or North Carolina in the 17th Century. They moved South and West, and most of my last few generations spent their time populating central and west-central Kentucky, including the counties of Marion, Hardin, Nelson, Edmonson, Grayson, Meade, Breckenridge and Jefferson.

I do this in order to learn and appreciate the past. I would appreciate any information that appears to dovetail with mine, and will gladly share what I know. There are many errors of fact or omission, I fear, so exercise caution and feel free to correct me where I have strayed from the facts.
