I have made every effort to verify the information that I have included on these pages. However, much of the data has been obtained from the web; therefore, it is quite likely that it contains errors. I have a “thing” about placing people with the same surname that marry into my lines, into their proper family, so I have often-times strayed from my own lines to do this.

I am also human, and I am sure that typographical errors have slipped into these files. The further you get back, many times you find there are different opinions about who has the correct information; in these cases, I have just had to choose whose data made the most sense to me.

As I have learned as I have gone along, I am trying to document my sources; however, much of the information included in my files, I gathered before I realized the importance of always documenting where you found that tidbit of information. Then, a few months ago, I had a computer “disaster” and destroyed over a thousand saved e-mails, which did contain a lot of the information and documentation.

So, if you do find some of your relatives in my files, please don’t consider this information as “written in stone”. Use this information as a “starting point”, and then work with it, trying to find additional documentation. You can contact me, and I will let you know if I know where I found it, or if I have any more information or possible contacts that you can use.

If you find errors in my files, please let me know. I don’t want to knowingly have mis-information in my files. I will make every effort to correct what I have. My files on this homepage, and my gedcom on Rootsweb World Connect, are constantly changed and updated, as I find new information, and as I find errors in my work.

I do not claim to be an “authority” on any of these lines. I am a relative new-comer to the fascinating hobby of genealogy. I am working on gathering “official” documentation, and do include researching in the Genealogy library, and in courthouses, etc. However, as I said, most of this information has been gathered from the contacts that I have found using the internet. I have found many cousins, and many helpful people along the way, who have shared their information, and looked up information that I was searching for.
