This is a story about Heather Joy who one day found her father that she had been searching for all these years. One day I started a web page with my picture on it and and said things only my father would know. I had a name to go on only Delmas Tincher Sr. I grew up for years thinking my father was Gerald David DeCredico. However I found out he wasn't. I was determined to find my real father. I was in California at the time and moved back in 1998 to raise my children where my other family lived and I also graduated form there. I had been in contact with a Dale Tincher that was no relation to me but was a big help and incouraged me to find him. I left California but never changed my email address on my web page, but I had a web link to my sisters web page and thats how my little bother eric found me. Eric Tincher (my brother I didnt know at the time) was searching the internet and put in Tincher and my web page came up. Soon after he read it , he printed it out for my dad to see it and told him he has a daughter and that he has a sister. They emailed my sister and she gave him her phone # and she confirmed that this was in deed my true father. My sister called me one day at work and asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I said I dont know , I guess a pair of jeans. Lisa Christine Layton (my sister i have known all my life and a different father) asked me if my dad would be a good unough birthday present (June 14, 1969) The year was 1998 when I found out that my dad lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I had a brother Eric, Delamas Jr and a sister Patty and Debbie. After talking to my dad for 3 hours, I was so happy, he sounded sothing and was very sweet and kind. I found out he has cancer. I told him I would make arrangements to come see him. Bill Pilmore my fiance' at the time got us plane tickets to go see him. We talked all the time on the phone prior to my visit with him. I was really nervous on the flight, but when i got off the plane I went directly to him and balled my eyes out. I couldnt get over how much I looked like him.

I will finish story at another time check back to see how it ended
