Levi, Lucy and son Jeduthan were originally buried in Old Cemetery on
Main Street and then moved to Rural Cemetery October 1897, Corinth.
The Levi Heath homestead (currently in 1989 known as the Fenton Farm on
Fenton Ro ad, Corinth) was built by Levi ca 1805.In the yardof the
farm is a great rock with a hallowed cavity on its top which the Heath
family has always beli eved to have been an Indian mortar or samp rock.
Mrs. Jessie Clothier Davis tells that her great grandmother (Lucy Lindsay
Heath) had used the rock to bu rn cob ash which was the only way they had
of obtaining baking soda.
