Notes for Radford C. Bailey: Radford and Lewis both moved to Colorado to prospect for gold. Radford became a sheriff there. An old timer in Colorado said that one of the Bailey boys was married and supposedly left a wife and kids and came back to Davie County.
From Catherine W. Pitts, comes this message: I have 11 letters that Emily, their mother, wrote to her sons in Colorado in 1880. I also have some letters that they wrote back to her. She died in Nov. 1880. I have published the letters in a manual called Emily's Letters, which I hope to get onto this web site. For more information about these letters, or any other information, please contact me via email and note in the subject line the word "genealogy" so that I won't mistake it for junk mail.
