George Pitts was the son of William and Della (Thomas) Pitts. He was married three times. He was widowed twice before his third marriage to Anna Walton. George wasm a man of God. He preached the Gospel for many many years until his health failed him. He was ill for a year when his doctor found out he had cancer and told him he had six months to live. In six months he was gone. He passed away in September of 1995. He is very much missed by his little flock and it is said he had the gift of healing. Often when he prayed he got results. The world needs more men like him. He had beautiful white hair. It was his desire for the church he had started to grow and prosper. There are still services there every Sunday. George had two sons and two daughters. He lived in a comfortable home filled with love. But God had an even better home for him.
