Notes for Francis Pitts: Obituary- Gazette Democrat (Anna Illinois) February 1959. Francis Pitts Brimm, daughter of the late James and Emiline Pitts, was born on March 1, 1869 in Woodbury Tennessee, and passed away at the Dodd nursing home in Jonesboro after an extended illness. She was united in marriage to William Brimm in 1891, and he passed away two years ago. Mrs. Brimm was a faithful member of the United Pentecostal church of Anna for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sally Dillow of Jonesboro, three sons, Jesse, Ed, and Sam Brimm all of Anna. Besides her three children, she is survived by four brothers, Lester, Bill and Oakley Pitts all of Anna, and (James) Bee Pitts of Woodbury, Tenn. Also 29 Grandchildren and 51 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the the United Pentecostal Church, Sunday, February 1, 1959, at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Bennie Jones. Interment was in the Casper Cemetery. McCarty Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
