Mrs. Flora (Lott) Pitts was born October 6, 1891, the daughter of William Lott and Ollie Hancock Lott, and departed this life February 3, 1963, at the age of 71 years three months and 28 days. She was united in marriage to Lester Pitts on August 13, 1908 (Union Co. Illinois). She is survived by her husband Lester, of Anna, one son, Truman Pitts, of Anna, three daughters, Mrs. Hassie Lingle and Mrs. Mary Hoyle both of Anna, and Mrs. Ruth Forbes of Aurora, one brother, Harrison Lott, of Madison, an Aunt, Mrs. Jessie Smith of Anna, four grandchildren, and one great granddaughter, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Pitts was a member of MT. Moriah Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Olive, who died in infancy on April 2, 1921. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 5, 1963 at 2 P.M. at the Crain - Norris Funeral Home with Rev. D.W. Karnuth, pastor of MT. Moriah Lutheran Church officiating. Interment was made in the Anna Cemetery. Crain - Norris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
