Mr. W. (William) Walter Dillow, 81, of Anna died at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 1995 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born on August 31, 1914, in Anna, the son of Ira and Eva Pitts Dillow. Mr. Dillow married Edith Louise Nordmeyer on November 18, 1933 in Anna. He is survived by his wife, Louise of Anna; two daughters, Marjorie Ann Myers of Cobden and Martha Jo Doelling of Jenson Beach, Florida; one son, Donald Lee Dillow of Peoria; one brother, Roy G. (Glenn) Rastus Dillow of Anna; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Glenn Sydney Dillow, and his parents. Mr. Dillow was a member of the Gospel of the Kingdom Church near Jonesboro. He was a retired custodian from the Lincoln Grade School in Anna. He was a veteran of World War II. Funeral services for Mr. W. Walter Dillow will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, today, October 19, 1995, at the Lutz and Rendelman Funeral home in Anna. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery with military honors at the grave by Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the VFW in Anna. Friends may call at Lutz and Rendelman funeral Home in Anna until the funeral hour today. Memorial contributions can be made to the Gospel of the Kingdom Church. Lutz and Rendelman Funeral Home in Ann is in charge of arrangements.
