Mr. Dee Brimm was born August 21, 1891 in Union Co. IL., the son of Christopher C. (Columbus) and Mattie Pitts Brimm and passed away April 29, 1978 at the Union County Hospital in Anna at 86 years, eight months and eight days. Mr. Brimm was united in marriage to Miss Vica Young November 3, 1915. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Vica Brimm of Anna; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Whitney of Anna, Mrs. Adonis Watson of Auburn, Mrs. Eleanore Ketchie of Charleston, S. C., and Mrs. Virginia Miles of Collinsville, a son, Charles D. Brimm of Anna; nine Grandchildren and six great grandchildren. he is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Short of Anna and Mrs. Irene Abbott of Mancelona, Mich.; and other relatives. Mr. Brimm was a retired farmer and had attended the camp Ground Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 1 at 1:30 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Eugene Runnels and Rev. Verlee Eaker officiating. Interment was made in the Anna Cemetery. Crain Funeral Home of Anna was in charge of arrangements.
