Carlista Crain Corbit (daughter of Lowell Corbit and Wanda Watkins) was born July 14, 1934 in Union Co. Il. (Anna), and died July 20, 1998 in Union Co. Il. (Anna). She married John Carrol Pitts on February 24, 1954 in Saratoga Illinois, son of Cecil Pitts and Sadie Cooper.

Carlista Crain Pitts, daughter of Lowell and Wanda Watkins Corbit, was born in Anna on July 4, 1934, and died Monday, July 20, 1998 at her home in Jonesboro at the age of 64. She married JohnC. (Carroll) Pitts on February 27, 1954. He survives. Mrs. Pitts attended and was a member of Saratoga Church. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Artenia and Michael Jones of Anna; one son and daughter-in-law, Shaun and Vonnie Pitts of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, Chad and Aubrey Pitts; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Richard Graham of Anna and Elaine and Robert Edwards of St. Louis; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, July 24, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hileman and Parr Funeral Services with David Nave officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday, today, at the funeral home. memorials can be made to the Saratoga Church. Hileman and Parr Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
