Mrs. Cleta Pitts , daughter of Arkley and Iba Shepard was born in Union County, Illinois on May 5, 1922 and passed away in Cape Giradau, Missouri on May 2, 1975 after an extended illness. On June 15, 1957 she was united in marriage to Thomas Pitts in cairo, Illinois. mrs. Pitts was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Anna. She and Mr. pitts owned and operated the Pitts shelter Care in Anna for many years. Mrs. pitts is survived by her husband, Thomas Pitts of Anna, two sisters, Margeret Qualls and Agnes Menees both of Anna, one brother, Arley Shepard of Jonesboro, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday May 4, 1975 at 2:00 p.m. in the United Pentecostal Curch in Anna. Rev. Charles Eugene Carr officiated and interment was in the casper Cemetery. norris and Son Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
