Thomas Franklin Brimm, 74, of Anna, died at 9:15 p.m. at his home in Anna. He was born February 3, 1918, in Union County IL., the son of Ozias Denton and Nellie White Brimm. He married Billie Gregory on July 31, 1945, in Jonesboro. He is survived by his wife, Billie, of Anna; three daughters, Nona Trambley, Kathy Modglin and Frankie Brimm; all of Anna; one sister, Lucille Baldwin of Murphysboro; one brother, Collin Brimm of Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; one half sister, Helen Stoner of Anna; seven grandchildren and other relatives.Three brothers, Carl, Bill and Russell Brimm; two half brothers, Roy and Dick Brimm; and a half sister, Bessie Boyer, all preceded him in death. He was an Army Veteran of World War 2, a member of Anna VFW Post No. 3455 and the Disabled American Veterans. He retired as a truck driver for the City of Anna. Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Garnett Mitchell officiating. Interment with full military honors by the Anna VFW Post No. 3455 was conducted at Casper Cemetery. Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna was in charge of arrangements.
