The Pizzi Family History

This genealogy is for the Pizzie and Pizzi family history. Because the spelling of the name was changed in the early 1900's, most of the history is for the Pizzi name.
I have done an extensive research to show the many other Italian family names in the Painesville, Ohio area that also have ties to Sant'Angelo en Grotte, Italy. The originals of all the collected documents are in a book that is five inches thick. I have visited Italy twice to gather original documents that would have not been available by any other request. I have been able to collect the miltary documents for the last three generations of Pizzi(e)s to authenticate their military history and their participation in the important battles both for America and Italy. I am proud to have the medals and awards for participation in the Vietnam, World War II, and the Italian-Ethiopian wars.
