The Plummer's moved to Georgia from Tennesse in the 1820's. and then to Texas in the 1830's. They settled in Refugio County, Texas in about 1837, and built the first home at El Copano (Copano Bay, near Rockport)1840's. They relocated to Goliad County (Blanconia) in the 1870's on land they had previously acquired.
