The Daily News November 27 1961 Charles F. VanSickle Charles F. VanSickle 78 died Saturday afternoon (November 25 1961) at the home of his daughter Mrs. Robert Pocock of the Pocock Rd. Mr. VanSickle was born in Bergen May 31 1883 and was a lifelong residence of the vicinity. A Golden Sheaf member of the Bergen Grange he was a retired farm operator. Mr. VanSickle had made his home with his daughter for six years. His wife died about seven years ago. Surviving besides his daughter are two sisters Mary Lewellyn and Mrs. DeRoy Johnson and eight grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Fowler Funeral Home 52 State St. Brockport where services will be conducted by Rev. Donald F. Rahtjen pastor of the Bergen United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mt. Rest Cemetery Bergen.
