Currently, I am primarily researching the surname Polly. The name appears to be Scot/Welsh in origin ... maybe! I have been told that there is a Mount Polly in NW Scotland. The most recent generations of my branch of Pollys have been in the Iowa area although some migrated to the Colorado area in the early 1900's. I am also looking for information on the surnames Lawrence, Simpson and Wirick ... more information to come later as to area and dates ...
