Updated March 25, 2002

The Poling surname is used in several families originating in Sussex, England.

Historically the name appears to be Anglo-Saxon in origin, The chuch in the Village of Poling, having an Anglo-Saxon window in its construction. Also the Domesday Book has reference to the "Hundred of Poling"

This particular family tree follows the descendants of George Polin from 1769 to the present day.
Amongst the data presented here, is a tree for the descendants of Walter Henry Poling, who is thought to be Walter the son of George Henry Poling, this has not been proved at this time.
