Anybody with any information on Howe in Irelend before 1866 will be very welcome !!!

Little note on the Polson origins:

The branches of Clan Mackay, as outlined in the "Book of Mackay", are as follows: Aberach Mackays, Scoury Mackays, Bighouse Mackays, Strathy Mackays, Melness Mackays, Sandwood Mackays, Dutch Mackays, Swedish Mackays - now von Key, Galloway Mackays, Argyle and Western Mackays, Erchar or Vic Farquhar, Polson, Achmonie Mackays, Mackie, Mack, and the three different forms of the name Iyeson or Mackay: Ison, Eason, and Esson


Locations - Central Scotland(Falkirk, Alloa and Culross)
- Scottish Highlands(Caithness and Sutherland)
- Ireland (desperately looking for info on this one)

Earliest date so far - 1797 Polson
- 1768 Adamson
