I am researching the Nowotny's, including Burnett and Harris families living in Texas, Oklahoma with the Burnett's apparantly starting in North Carolina, also found in Shellmound, Tennesse. The most prominent locations in Texas were around the New Braunfel's area and in Oklahoma, around Osage and Oklahoma City.Pollock's including Moorhead, Whitmore (this branch seemed to wind up around the Stillwater, OK area), Drake and Rosmond's (aka Rasmussens) beginnings in Scotland and England.Other pertinent family names are Brakefield (the first location I have is Clark Elirth Brakefield, born November 26, 1860 in Washington CH, Ohio and settled in Yukon Oklahoma, McLemore originating in Meridian or Calhoun Mississippi and settling in Cement, OK. |
