Descendents Of Joseph P. McVey 1823-1900

This site is being developed to further aide in the research of the Joseph P. McVey family. Extensive work has been done into the descendents, but not much is available on the ancestors.
There are many unanswered questions regarding the McVey Family and their orgin, but according to census accounts and Military records, Joseph P. McVey was born and lived his early life in Tennessee and later, in the 1800's, he moved and settled in and around Searcy and Izard Counties, in Arkansas.We are interested in Joseph P McVey's Parent's, as there or no known facts about them that we are able to find.
