Gilmore and Turner Families of Ireland

I am trying to locate information on my wife's grandfather, John William Gilmore, born 1880 in Co.Monaghan, Ireland. Also information on my great grandfather, Alexander Turner, from Ulster, Ireland. He and his family emmigrated to New Zealand on the "Carisbrooke Castle" in 1875. Any information would be appreciated.
