| First, we are researching the PORTER family from Herkimer County, NY. Andrew married Sarah "Sally" PARKHURST of Lancaster, MA. They had thirteen children. Second, we are researching the RYEL family from Dutchess County, NY. Peter married Mehitabel WASHBURN of Sing Sing, NY. They had ten children.Third, we are researching the ROUSE family of Madison County, NY. Hiram married Cordelia BAKER of LaFayette, Onondaga County, NY. They had eight children. Fourth, we are researching the RICE family of Marlboro, Ashburnham, MA and of Otisco, Onondaga County, NY. Jonah, Jr. married Mary (Molly) HOYT of Marlboro, MA. They had one child that we know about. Currently, we are researching all families that are related to the four main families in our genealogy. These families are as follows: Garfield, Cleveland, Ward, Howe, Hough, Young, Hughson, Getchell, Gleason, Houghton, Amidon, Riggall, Lathrop, Rappole, to name only a few of the many related families.
