Iam researching all branches of our families. This includes Portenier, Hock, McFarlane, Hull, Rogers, Overton, Groff, Brethouwer, Smith, Bickett, Allen, Boyce, Steele, Dean, Liggett, Shaw, and Ross.

My Grandfather William Clyde Rogers was born to Martin Van Buren Overton. His mother's maiden name was Maggie Winters. After his mother died he and his older brother Curtis were adopted. William Clyde was adopted by Titus and Mary Sophia Rogers of Long Island, Kansas. I am in need of leads on the Overtons and Groffs.

My mother's grandfather Hugh Allen Bickett was married to Inez Kate Boyce who was born 9-24-1853 at Peru, Indiana, was married 2-3-1874 ar Monmouth, Illinois, died 1-22-1928 at Casper, Wyoming and was buried at Woodruff, Kansas. I have no further information about her.
