I started this project as part of a paper I was involved in at school. All of a sudden, it became very important to me to find out who my ancestors are. At the time I am writing this caption, I am 46 years of age. I need to corner as many of my elders as I can; where else does our history come from. I want to hear stories (including the lies...). How far can I go before I lose the line all together due to slavery? I don't want my grandchildren or great grand children to have to work so hard to know exactly who they are. Furthermore, it's putting me in a very loving position. I can't believe how many of us want exactly the same thing. Love, Phyllis |
