David Reeves, British soldier, 23rd Regiment Light Dragoons abt 1800. Fought in Peninsular wars & battle of Waterloo. David & wf.Susan emigrated Cnty. Kent,Eng. 1825, to Grenville, Que., Can. He was Veternary Sgt. during Grenville-Carillon canal const.; They had three sons Daniel/Mary Young, Christopher/Alice Sugars (Grenville, L.C.) and William (Kingston U.C.). Christopher had thirteen children Bill - B.C., Can.; Tom - Ohio USA; Ann/ Hugh McEwen - Lachine, Mich., USA; Elizabeth/Harry Allen - Hillman Mich.USA she died 1881 age 62; George/Annie McGill - Calumet L.C., He died 1936 age 74.
Richard Sugars emigrated England abt 1800, to Grenville, Que. Can. Married Elizabeth Howe & farmed in Laurentian mountains above Calumet Que.Can.
Jim Muirhead/Elizabeth Heron (school teacher) of Cnty. Armand, Ireland. Moved to Princess St., Edinborough, Cnty. Kerri, Scotland abt 1880. Their children Jim, Elspeth and Isabel. Elspeth/Peter McGinnis (Mtl.Que.Can.)
Hugh McGinnis/Helen Robinson, Athelstan, Que. near Huntingdon, raised thirteen children owned 62 cheese factories in area. Hugh 1818-1881 Helen 1835-1910.
