| Attempting to research my family tree which started in Baltimore from the Ports & Linton family. Also would like any info. on wife's family that migrated from Poland after WWII via Germany to Boston possibly on the Gen Hershey transport. Her family name is Chlebowicz & Dalidowicz, she knows the family went in many direction's and some even back to the old area which is now Belarus. Maybe someone out there served on the ship in 1949 and can help us locate where the manifest's for that ship might be kept today. Will respond to any help we can get. Wife's name is Frances and reads/speaks Polish. |
