The Posey Family from 1640 Home Page

I've researched the Posey family back to Francis who immigrated to this country, in 1637 and again in 1640, to take advantage of Lord Baltimore's offer of free land to anyone who payed his or others passage and would settle in Maryland. to wit -
"15 Jan'y 1648 - FRANCIS POSEY demands 100 acres for transporting himself into the Province in 1640, and 300 acres more by assignment &c. Warrants for 400 acres in Wiccocomico River on north side of Mr. Neal's Creek. (Land Office, Lib. ABH, fol 10.)"

At this time I'm trying to connect Edward Posey (d.1837) in Lewis Co. Va to his parents. I've made some assumptions so far, but will be satisfied when I find the real parents or birth date.
