POSTLETHWAITE - We are trying to locate the first Hartley Postlethwaite (I am the 4th and my son is the 5th).My Grandfather (the 2nd), was born in Boone County Illinois - as were two sisters (Millie & Alta). They were born in 1851, 1853, 1855. We have found Hartley Postlethwaite Sr. & wife Rhoda in Farm Census of 1855 - along with adjacent farms of Postlethwaites. We are told that a Hartley woman married a Postlethwaite man (probably in Yorkshire, England), thus the Hartley Postlethwaite names. GRAUBERGER Alexander - We are also seeking relatives of the Grauberger family - Germans from Russia. My Grandfather (Christoffer) and his family came to the US on the SS MONGOLIA which arrived in San Francisco on Sept. 20, 1913.We know that my grandfather had two brothers that were also born by the Volga (near Stalingrad) - and assume they too came to the US.One of Grandfather's sons changed his name to GRAY - and all his children go by the GRAY name.My Grauberger granparents died within 2 years of arrival (under suspicious circumstances), and Uncle Leo and his wife Aunt Fannie raised his sister and brothers.Grandmother's maiden name was Schwab. DICKENSON - Janie's father was Clarence Dickenson and was born in Mossuri. His father was an Attorney - probably in Independence MO.His father's father was said to have been a Judge in the same area. SEIVERT/HOFFMAN - Janie's mother was Agnes Sievert and we have considerable information on that side of our family. RARDIN - Am also looking for information on Anthony Rardin who committed suicide in the San Francisco area - I think in the fifties. His father was Sam Rardin. LADY AUGUSTA GROSS - Married Wilhelm DeWitt and came to America in the late 1800's.Might be grandaughter of King William VI, via his 20 year non-marriage to actress Dorothy Jordon. MAUDE LOUISE VOAK - Sister Nellie, and brother Clarence.Maude first woman reporter in California We now have about 3744 family relations entered in our FTW version 4.4We are seeking help on finding other members of the family and willing to share what we have with others seeking information about people with the same names.
