Updated September 5, 2000

John Dowling married Deliverance Coat(e)s. Their children lived in the Niagara County, New York area until the 1830's to 40's, when they moved to Michigan. John Dowling died by 1827. Deliverance married David Wisner in 1827. John and Deliverance's children where Dorothy, William, James, Hiram, Elizabeth, Clark Roderick and Asa Coats Dowling. We beleive this family came from Upper Canada in the early 1800's and lived in Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada. Any and all information about this family will be met with great enthusiasm.
