Eliza Jane Vanover (b. December 12, 1915, d. June 14, 1979)
Eliza Jane Vanover (daughter of Boyd Vanover and Samantha B.) was born December 12, 1915 in Letcher County, Kentucky (Home), and died June 14, 1979 in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona (St. Joseph's Hospital). She married Cecil Potter on March 18, 1943, son of Sherman Garfield Potter and Thursie Sarah Akers.

A death announcement clipped from a newspaper (no date or name of paper) lists Eliza Jane Potter being 63 years old at the time of death and was a cafeteria employee for the Phoenix Union High School District. She died in St. Joseph's Hospital and was survived by Cecil, three sisters and three brothers. Private services were held. Eliza Jane's address was listed as 2541 E. Jackson St, Phoenix, AZ, 85034 in the undated paper. DBP 8-4-03
Mercer Mortuary and Chapel (1541 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85014 ph: 602-266-4473) was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Funeral took place in the chapel on Monday 6-18-1979 at 2:00 PM. Rev.
