I am also in the process of writing a book about my grandfather Alfred William Walden, and I need certain information concerning his life and background in Stamford, Lincolnshire from 1847 to 1883. I know he was born June 5th 1847 Lumbys Court,St Martins, Stamford, Rutland,Lincs.
He married a Emma Jackson from Stamford and they both emigrated to Toronto Canada in 1883 where they lived the rest of their life. Did they have any children in England ?. Not known.
