Hilda Steber, Antigo, died today at The House of the Dove in Marshfield. She was 85 years old. Mrs. Steber was born May 4, 1905 in Leopolis, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kutil. She married Anthony John Steber in 1927 in Antigo. He preceded her in death Jan. 5, 1957. Mrs. Steber moved to Antigo after attending school in Green Bay. She was employed at the former Weinbrenner Shoe Factory. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Ervin (Sally) Prasalowicz, Antigo; 3 sons, Donald, Antigo, Anthony John, Rhinelander and Richard, Chicago, Ill.; a brother Frank, Eureka, Calif, 21 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, 2 brothers and a great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church. Rev. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep will officiate with burial in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday between 3:30 and 8 pm at the McCandless-Zobel and Bradley Funeral Home where a parish wake service will begin at 4:30 pm.
