Schenk-Schenck-Schenke, Michigan,Canada and EuropeGenereaux-Jenereaux, Michigan,England,Canada Maison-Mason Touroo-Touro-Toureau, Michigan and Canada Healy-Gretz-Stienman-Lerner-Dodge-Schultz, Germany and Michigan, I am just starting my research on my family tree. I am doing my husbands and my side. Any information on the names would be helpfull. I am having the most problems finding anything on the Schenk family side. I am learning alot about my ancesters. My Greart Grandmother Sofia Lerner-Stienman-Dodge, came over to America from Germany with her brother Loui Learner, Mike Learner the oldest, came over before them. On the boat a man offererd Sofia a banana, she never seen one before so she ate peel and all. She never ate another banana after that. My husbands grandfather,Gerald Benjamine Maison (DOC) son of Francis Xavier Maison and Alice A. Trombley, is in the Michigan hall of fame.He recieved awards and tropheys in horseshoe tournements, he held state records for many years. He also was an excellent bowler and also has tropheys for it.
