I am trying to research my roots.I was born in Philadelphia, Pa in may 1949.My father is Richard Powers Jr. and my mother was Margaret Elizabeth Kearns.To my knowledge they were both born in the Philadelphia area.I know I have relatives in the Northeastern area of Pa.I was told while growing up that my ancestors are from Ireland (Cork and Waterford Counties). | |
