The daughter of Carl Arnett and the late Pauline Arnett, she was born December 25, 1937, at Edwards, MO., and departed this life December 15, 1971 at the age of 33 years, 11 months and 20 days of the dreaded illness of Lukemia. Most of her life was spent in and around Cross Timbers, where she served her community in so many different ways. She was converted July 13, 1952 and united with the Methodist Church at Cross Timbers, MO. On June 15, 1957, she was united in marriage to Olic C. Smith. To this union three daughters were born, Kimberley, age 11, Lisa, 9, and Trina, 3. She was preceeded in death by her mother, Pauline Arnett, leaving to mourn her passing, her devoted husband, Olin; her three daughters; her father Carl Arnett, and stepmother, June, Urbana, MO., three devoted brothers, Archie, Urbana, MO., Robert, Cross Timbers, MO. and Jim, Syracuse, MO., one loving sister, Mrs.Carlene Drennon, also a father-in-law and mother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Smith, Cross Timbers, MO.; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Burial was in Cross Timbers Cemetery under the direction of John F. Reser Funeral Home of Warsaw, MO.
