HUSBAND - William Henry PRATHER Uncle Henry lived in Sherman, Texas. I visited Uncle Henry and Aunt Emma in the late 30s along with my grandmother, Harriet Ann, my Aunt Wanda, her daughter Dorthy Ann and my uncle Everett Norwood Logue. They had one
son, Jack. Uncle Henry's niece, Thelma Evelene Logue, recalls that they had a daughter, Bernice, who died at an early age due to a tonsillectomy from which she bled to death. Jack Prather's widow now lives in Allentown, Pa.
The obituary found in the Sherman Democrat reads: May 24, 1965. Service Planned for William Henry Prather. William Henry Prather, 85, died Sunday evening in a Sherman rest home following a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday in the Waldo Funeral Chapel, Rev. James Koontz, pastor of Key Memorial Methodist Church, where he was a member, will conduct the services. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
Mr Prather was born April 8,1880 in McAnary(McNairy) County, Tenn. He was married to Miss Emma V. Graham Jan. 13, 1905 in Selmer, Tenn. She died in May, 1964.
Mr Prather came to Sherman from Tennessee in 1910. He was a railroad employe ofthe Frisco Railroad.
He is survived by one son, Jack Prather, and on grandaughter, Virginia Prather, of Allentown, Pa.. A daughter, Bernice, preceded him in death in 1928.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Brodhead, Raymomd Nall, A.C. Wood, R.L. Smith, V.O. Hilley and Ralph Elliott. The family will be at 1501 E. Mildred St.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Waldo Funeral Home for Mrs. W. H. Prather, 76, who died at 5:25 p.m. Friday in a Sherman hospital. She resided at 1308 N. Harrison St.
Rev. James Koontz, Key Memorial Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
Ralph Broadhead, Rayburn Nall, Andy Rambin, A.C. Wood, R.L. Smith and V.O. Hilley will be pallbearers.
Mrs. Prather was born Oct. 29, 1887 in Hollis Spring, Miss.; a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Graham. She married Mr. Prather Jan. 13, 1905 in Selmer, Tenn.
She had lived in Sherman since 1912 and had been a member of Rebekah Lodge and the Key Memorial Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, a retired Frisco employee; one son, Jack L. Prather of Allentown, Pa.; and one grandaughter, Miss Virginia Lou Prather of Allentown. A daughter, Bernice, preceded her in death in 1928.

CHILD I - Bernice PRATHER Thelma Evelene Logue, niece of Uncle Henry, recalls that Bernice died at an early age. She had a tonsillectomy and bled to death.

Allentown, Pa.- Funeral for Jack L. Prather, 69. formerly of Sherman, who died Tuesday in an Allentown, Pa., hospital, was held there this week.
Prather and his wife, the former Louise Vehle of Sherman, celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary last July.
He was employeed by Fuller Co. for 32 years before retiring in 1981 as Vice President, general counsel and secretary. Before join" Fuller, he was a field project engineer for the Army Corps of Engineers in Texas, an engineering of ficer in the Navy
and an examiner in the Patent Office.
A 1941 graduate of Texas A&M, he was a 1948 graduate of Methodist University School of Law with a doctorate of jurisprudence.
Born in Sherman, he was a son of William H. and Emma V. Graham Prather.
He was chairman of the advisory board of Salvation Army in Allentown and active in industrial development and the conference of churches in that area. He was a Baptist. He was an Eagle and Sea Scout in Sherman.
Surviving are his wife; and daughter Virginia Lou of Bensalem, Pa. He was the brother-in-law of Teresa Wegener of Sherman.

Jack L. Prather Allentown, Pa.- Jack L. Prather,69, of Allentown, Pa. and formerly of Sherman, died Tuesday in LeHigh Valley Hospital Center.
Burial arrangements are under the direction of Donald N. Bachman Funeral Home.
Mr. Prather was born in Sherman, the son of William H. and Emma V. Graham Prather, and married Louise Vehle. Mr Prather was employed by Fuller Co. for 32 years and retired in 1981 as vice president, general counsel and secretary.
Mr. Prather was a 1941 graduate of Texas A&M Unoversity and a 1948 graduate of Southern Methodist School of Law. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a Navy World War 11 veteran.
Mr. Prather was listed in "Who's Who in America" and Who's Who in the World."
Surviving are his wife and one daughter.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or the Salvation Army in Allentown, Pa.

PAARALYSIS FATAL
J. T. Graham, aged 65 years, was stricken with paralysis last
Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs, E. R. Hawkins in
Selmer, and died Sunday afternoon.His remains were laid to
rest Monday in Oakhill cemetery, Rev. J. W. Wallace conducting
the funeral service.
The deceased formerly lived in this district, but for the
past several years have lived in Texas and with his wife had
been visiting relatives in this section.He is survived by a
widow and two daughters, Mrs. Henry Prather of Texas, and Mrs.
E. R. Hawkings of Selmer.The sorrowing family have the
sympathy of all our people in their bereavement.
