He had been a resident here for 40 years and was a sawyer in lumber mills for many years. He is survived by his wife; nine sons, Edwin of Peterboro, Wilford of Alstead, Gordon, Ralph, George, Arthur, Albert and Erwin , and one daughter, Ida Bashaw, all of this town. The funeral was held at the Fisk funeral parlors at Claremont on Feb 15, the Rev. C. B. Etsler officiating. The burial was in Forest Hill cemetery.

The funeral was held in Claremont at the Fisk Funeral parlors Monday, Rev. C. _________ officiating. Burial was made in Forest Hill cemetery. The deceased is survived by his wife and nine sons, Edwin of Peterboro, Wilford of Alstead, Gordon, Ralph, George, Arthur, Albert, Melvin and Erwin of this town, and also one daughter of this town.
