Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 1 p.m. at Hurricane United Baptist Church for George Daniels, 68, of Boons Camp, KY, who passed away Sunday, March 20 at his residence. Mr. Daniels was born July 27, 1936 in Johnson County, KY, son of the late Wiley and Hattie Adams Daniels. Surviving are his wife, Alice Preston Daniels of Boons Camp, KY; five sons, Marvin, Earl, and Jason Daniels, all of Boons Camp, KY, William and Johnny Daniels, both of Ulysses, KY; two daughters, Georgene Slone of Lowmansville, KY, and Elizabeth Sheridan of Boons Camp, KY; three brothers, Jim Daniels of Columbus, OH, Dennie Daniels of Whitehouse, KY, and Harold Daniels of Lowmansville, KY; one sister, Nancy Lambe of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren. The service will be officiated by David Baldwin, Hobart Pack and Earl Preston, with burial following in the Preston Cemetery at Boons Camp, KY. Arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville, KY.
