Welcome!
This page is dedicated to my German and American heritage. I have been very actively researching my families roots for over 10 years now. There are over 3092 individuals and 1035 families in the database.
I currently use Family Tree Maker for all data tracking and placed additional information in my own web site at One Net Communications. Please feel free to stop by my URL at, http://w3.one.net/~jprell/index.htm or simply click on "Prell WEB Page" below my e-mail address listing shown on this page.
I am a member of the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) NSSAR no. 149000 and OHSSAR no. 8017. The society is composed of individuals who have proven blood-line to a soldier who fought in the American Revolution.
Also, I am a member of the CSSIW (Continental Society Sons of Indian Wars) no. 181, because of proven blood-line to Cornelius Sprong, my 5th great-grandfather, who faught in the French and Indian War in 1746.
My 9th great-grandfather, John Phinney, settled in the Massachusetts Bay Colony and was appointed Constable of Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1642. I am a member of the NSSDP (National Society Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims) National No. 10530, State No. 296 due to proven blood-line to John Phinney being a first settler or pilgrim of the new world.
I have also posted my entire GEDCOM file to GENDEX; which is a surname database project. It is free to search with or without submitting your GEDCOM file. There are over 4 million names in this index to date. The URL is http://www.gendex.com
Also, I have found an excellent program for converting GEDCOM files directly into HTML file format called, "GED2HTML". This is the program that I use for a search engine on the database. The program costs $20.00 to register, but you can test it out for free since it is shareware.
