More About Elias Chapman:
Burial: Cedar Shoals Bapt. Church, Greenville County, South Carolina.

Notes for Malinda Jordan:
Malinda is said to have been buried at Cedar shoals in the middle of the right side cemetery, in a new plot for up to 6 people. The site is marked by a stone with the name CHAPMAN. Four small footstones are there to seperate four of the graves, but no names are on them. Malinda is supposedly to be buried there with her two daughters Tecorah and Stacy. It is unknown who the other grave would be. There is also a new marker for Malinda and Elias together just a few feet away, but the death date for Malinda is incorrect and it is also said that Elias is buried in an unmarked grave at Fork Shoals Baptist Church, but perhaps he is the unknown grave in the section mentioned above.
This info was handed down from a grand daughter of Elias and Malinda who passed away a few years ago. I believe her name was Ellen or Elsie.
