Notes for ISAAC [SR] EADS:
--NOTE OF INTEREST TO ALL-- I do not want to give the impression that all of this information listed is of my own, and that I seem to think that I am some kind of authority. Let it me known here and now this is the furthermost from the truth, than mere words could explain. All I have tried to do is share in this forum, my good Fortune to acquire and gotten from several sources. I never want to mislead anyone into thinking I am a know it all or the ultimate AUTHORITY on any family information other than my own. I will take a chapter out of the book from my net friend and fellow researcher Don Nickell, and make sure it is understood that the information is gathered from several sources. The information contained herein has come from public records, census reports, state records, files that I have researched from local LDS center and online LDS service. The generous helpers whom without I could not have the information that I have here to share with all that are interested. The people that have contacted me and those that I have contacted to share equally one from another. Let it be known that there are entries that are not proven and is put in this page only for further research, and the use of others for the purpose of finding their family members which is what I feel is the right thing to do. I have been told many times Thank You for posting this information because, I have found a relative that I have been looking for, for a very long time. Thank You and I hope that all understand the purpose for this disclaimer and if there is any question in anyway please e-mail me and let me know, if I can be of further service. There are many fine people working the genealogy world now and I have met a lot of them, but once and awhile you run across those that like to horde the information that has been freely given to them and are upset when some postit for others. I am not like that, and want to help as many as I can. Steve A. Pritchett E-Mail [email protected] Medford, Oregon.
Before I go any further I need to let everyone know where I have gotten much of this information. First My brother Gordon Pritchett shared with me what he had gathered from my Aunt Marie Bolerjack which she also so sent me some info. Also Ann Kennedy supplied me with a tremendous amount of information, She is truly a sweet heart of a cousin. Some comes from Judy Skinner.
The information supplied from Ann was somewhat gotten from a E. Merl Sadler, Las Vegas, Nevada. He had gotten his information as I understand from a family group sheet called "The Eads Family in America.
The information stated above came from family members of mine and family Bibles and records of marriage and death. Signed Steve A. Pritchett family researcher Medford, Oregon E-mail [email protected]
One interesting thing about this family is the reason they wound up in America, There was a Isaac Eads born in England and he was sent here from the London Courts when he got himself into trouble by stealing a mans clothing out of his house. He was caught and taken to jail in leg irons. Some of the charges were dropped but the theft charge stuck and his punishment was to be put on a ship and sent to America. I have a copy of the court records and it is all documented. The thing of it is we do not know if it was Isaac's father.
