Welcome to my web site!
I started looking into my family history a few years ago now and got hooked! I know you are supposed (or so I'm told) to just research your own family name going back through your father's line but I can't help getting side tracked so I go off in any family direction that takes my fancy. I'm having great fun and putting it up on the web is a good way of finding new distant relations and getting more information.
We've had messages from people who have turned out to be cousins, sometimes distant geographically as well as genealogically, and very happy we have been to hear from them.

I had been told that the BEARD family originated in Cornwall then moved to Bristol (and other places) Now I find that they came from the Birmingham area. The SCUDAMORE or SKIDMORE family I've traced to Gloucestershire. The ALLEN and CHANNON families both originated in Ireland. My husband is Welsh, the PROSSER and OWENS all came from around Merthyr Tydfil the Barlows moved to Swansea from Yorkshire. I was brought up in the West Indies and one of my sons-in-law is Dutch. I think we're quite a mixture.

I've also made a special web site for my grandson Ryan. It's not favouritism, just visit his site at www.ryanspage.org.uk and you'll see why he is so special.

Anyway, the following pages hold some of the bits I've found so far. I started with one big 'all in one' family tree but as it got bigger I had to separate it making smaller trees for each family branch. Feel free to hunt around until you find what you are looking for. Righ click your mouse on any individua you want to find out more about and more names and links wi appear. There is also an index of names page which I hope to get up to date one day!
