The Goodners and the Forster and Prothero families

Researching the Goodners and Forster and Prothero families.
My grandmother was Mabel Goodner and my grandfather was Gardner Stanley Forster on my mother side and my grandfather was Herbert Edwin Prothero on my father side. Seems that the Goodners came from Germany, the Forster also came from Germany although my great great grandmother came from Norway, the Protheros came from Wales.
