I am researching the name of Ransom Powell Proctor born 1813 in Rutherford Co. NC. Married first wife Elizabeth McCurry in 1833. They had four children: William Proctor b:1833; Wiley Proctor b:1836; Joseph Proctor b:1837; and Margaret Proctor b:1838. Married second wife Mary "Polly" Waters in 1850. They had seven children: Adeline Mary Proctor b:1844; George Proctor b:1850; James Proctor b:1852; Julian Proctor b:1853; Thomas C Proctor b:1855; John Proctor b:1857; Andrew Proctor b:1860.
Ransom and "Polly" moved from NC after 1860. Arriving in Douglas Co. MO after 1870. Polly died on the way and is buried in TN.
