| I am researching my father's lineage (Earl William Proffitt), born April 25, 1921 (Fort Harrison) Indianapolis, Indiana father was John Proffitt, mother was Hazel Kaufman, DOB 3/11/1904 Indianapolis, Indiana; DOB 5/1978, Indianapolis, Indiana. Since his father's name was John it is difficult to locate the exact one, the name John was too common among the Proffitt clan. John remarried after divorcing Hazel. His second wife was Flora and they had six children together, their oldest was also named John and I believed died in his mid twenties, and I believe the others may have been all girls. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
